Boonville Area Skilled Nursing Home is looking for an energetic Director of Nursing (DON)responsible for overseeing the nursing administrative function of the home. The Director of Nursing must exhibit the ability to foster a happy and healthy environment while overseeing the overall operation of the Nursing department team.
Must have a minimum of an ASN degree from accredited college or university
Must be a currently licensed (RN) in the State of Missouri. Must maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment.
Will develop a strong dynamic team by overseeing the recruiting, hiring, orientation/training staff as needed. The goal will be for the staff and Residents to have a happy healthy environment that fosters longevity of employment and excellence in care and compliance.
Must have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department
Must perform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to: nursing care, supervisory responsibilities, patient rights, and safety and sanitation
Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
